I pealed the labels off of my cans of beets, sent them in, and that’s how I got my demon. Don’t you know that’s how it’s done? Anyway that was about the creepiest Chick tract I’ve ever seen. And that’s saying a lot. Straping a 8 year old down, and then"throwing the book"at him rather than giving him help for his obvious mental illness? Weirdly, by the letter of Chick’s theology, it doesn’t actually matter if you kill Jesus as long as you believe in Him while you’re doing it. I think it’s one of those “if you meet the Buddha on the road” deals. ---

Well, usually its only the Bible, and many times this actually makes some sort of twisted sense. In the fashion that he usually cites it, though (I’ll admit to have not read all that many Chick tracts, but still more than a passing familiarity), I just assumed going in he would do the same with the Koran, just taking it out of context, especially when he makes his bolder claims about Islam. ---

Also, I think the SDMB should adopt the picture of the sinners as its new logo. Also, the “yes” and “no” boxes for Jesus at the end of the Allah tract crack me up. It reminds me of the 6th grade… “Do you like me? yes no” ---
