Since I seem to have become the Unofficial Keeper of the Chick Tracts, here’s [Heart Trouble](http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/1034/1034_01.asp?wpc=1034_01.asp&wpp=b). “The heart is deceitful above all things,” and it’s apparently a monster, too! Plus, a new “black tract,” [Fame](http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/1106/1106_01.asp?wpc=1106_01.asp&wpp=a), an African-American version of the recent [The Star](http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/1028/1028_01.asp). I can see this Samuel L. Jackson type-character doing a nude scene much more plausible than the bizarre Ricardo Monalban figure in the original. (Open up both tracts in two different windows and switch back and forth- watch the white people turn into black people! They just basically drew new heads. It’s pretty bizarre.) ---

I seem to recall him using the same method to ebonify another strip; I’m amused to note that what I thought was the pure, gleaming presence of God has also been re-touched. Either that or they lowered the wattage on his head a bunch. As for the other, all I can say is: Holy Hippocratic oath batman! :eek: Note also in that strip that the doctor just busts right out with the evangelism, ignoring even the pretence of a reason. Perhaps Chick characters have some sort of gaydar for sinners. :dubious: ---

[/QUOTE] It is weird isn’t it - not only did they draw new heads, the black people that were already in the scenes are coloured in a bit darker. ---
