I’m sorry - what was the point of the old lady falling in the beginning, again? Was it to establish that Joe was a bad guy? That was pretty clear from his hobnobbing with demons, and every other frame in the tract. ---

If the daughter KNEW that Mom might fall, why in the world did she not insist that Mom stay with her? Just about every pharmacy has a place to sit down. And if Mom knew that she was likely to fall, why did she insist on going outside? Those two might be lambs of God, but lambs and sheep are not known for their common sense. ---
