I agree with the article, it is a poorly executed painting, with an unnatural, stilted posture. ---

I think it looks ridiculous. But really, it’s probably an appropriate picture for Clinton. ---

It doesn’t look like my boyfr - I mean President Clinton, but does, indeed, look like Ted Koppel, as he article states. I, too, miss him greatly. ---

I think it’s an okay portrait of him (although his positioning doesn’t look very natural) but I agree that it doesn’t seem “presidential”. ---

It’s a good try at getting Clinton’s personality up there, but he does look uncomfortable and a little too relaxed. ---

A perusal of the [National Portrait Gallery](http://www.npg.si.edu/exh/travpres/index6.htm) reveals some oddball Presidential portraits and quite a few where the President is holding a paper or papers of some sort. Clinton’s is certainly notable for the unbuttoned jacket and one arm akimbo, though. It’s kind of hard to get a good overall impression from such a dinky picture. Compared to the others I don’t find it wholly objectionable. A bit odd, perhaps. ---

It kind of looks like he’s coming out of the bathroom and god damn proud of the stink he just made. Kind of cool, laid back, confident looking. Nice head tilt. I likes it. ---

I think that’s my basic objection here – picture is ostensibly of Clinton, but actually seems to represent someone else – someone, by the way, who’s lost three fingers of his left hand to a threshing accident. ---

Bad pose, bad likeness, and havin his jacket open like that is just too informal. He also looks way thinner in the portrait than he is.
