'struth. I’m sure she’s in excellent shape, but how she will do this without hurting herself is beyond me. If she were a man, it might be one thing, but as a woman… What the hell are they thinking? ---

Lessee, here: comedian, check; boy band member, check; Disney Channel regular, check; football player, check; Olympics competitor, check; geriatric actor/actress, check. Seriously, though. Cloris Leachman? Seems to be pushing the outside of the envelope just a bit there. It’d be nice to see a baseball player or NASCAR driver in the mix at least once, but I guess the length and demands of their respective seasons make it pretty unlikely. ---

6 posts in and I’m the first to mention [Ted McGinley](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0569337/)? Do you know what this means? The death knell has just rung for _Dancing with the Stars_! The Tedster is practically the Grim Reaper for TV shows. Oh, and I predict an early exit for Jeffrey Ross. Put him in the same room with Kim Kardashian (sex tape), Brooke Burke (Playboy), Misty May-Treanor (wears a tiny bikini as her day job uniform), and Cloris Leachman (ummm, old?) every week, and he’s bound to say something that will cost ABC a hefty FCC fine. I can’t frickin’ wait! ---

May is a goofball but she’s also a serious competitor. You don’t dominate like she has and win two gold medals without being competitive. And with all the training she does off-season to whip herself into shape, she has the stamina and motivation to do well in this competition. In other words, I think she has as strong an ego as Maks’. And that might = fireworks. ---

She has a great sense of humor, and I’d be willing to bet she’s got some dance in her background, or she wouldn’t even have considered this at her age. ETA: The audience will eat her up. [/QUOTE] I know Ted is right up there with Alison La Placa as a showkiller, but don’t forget the greatest sitcom of all time, Married with Children, continued for 6 1/2 seasons after Ted joined the cast.
