The tldr as I understand it is that in a reverse dominance hierarchy, regular citizens treat their leaders as servant leaders, view the leadership role as solely a duty and not something that leaders should be able to benefit from and are quick to resist power hungry leaders. It has nothing to do with the idea of privileged or underprivileged minority groups.

Phase one was supposed to allow into Gaza 600 aid trucks per day. According to the UN and NGO’s they’ve almost never exceeded half of that. Less than 300 trucks per day. Sometimes they’ve even cut off access to trucks all together.
No, you can’t move on to phase two until Israel complies with phase one. That’s just common sense.

The Crown signed the english version of the treaty and the Chiefs signed the Te Reo version but the two versions said different things. And those different things are the cause of much of the debate today.
I cited the version Hamas signed earlier in the thread. That is different from the version in your cite. The version Hamas signed didn’t include disarmament, only an amnesty. I remember this exact thing when the White House release their version and how it was pointed out at the time they were different.
Hamas are not rejecting “peace plans”; they are rejecting disarmament plans that they never agreed to. They are proceeding with the handover plans to the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza.
Israeli generals say that West Bank violence is almost entirely being driven by settler terrorists, and not Palestinians (or Hamas). And that a failure to curb this violence could be even more catastrophic for Israel than Oct 7th.
Israeli government and military actions in the IDF have, for years, put the lie to any assertion that Israeli authorities are actually interested in peace and human rights. No one can or should expect such an organization to respect these values in Gaza or anywhere else, considering their clearly documented actions in the WB.
This article from Haaretz suggests the Israeli government is actively trying to encourage an explosion of violence in the West Bank in order to help them electorally:

You just have to look at it through the lens of oppressor-oppressed dynamics. Once you realize that Israel are ‘oppressors’ while Palestinians are ‘oppressed’ you can blame any Palestinian action you dislike on ‘Israeli Oppression’ and ignore it entirely in your analysis.
Is it? Garbage in, garbage out, and oppressor/oppressed dynamics are a garbage lens when applied to every single situation ever regardless of context. GIGO isn’t befuddling, it’s predictable.
Note that all my opinions are based on the reported facts of Israel’s actions, Netanyahu’s words, documented reports from IDF members and witnesses, international organizations, etc. Nothing about BS “oppressor-oppressed dynamics”.
I’m a Jew and a descendant of Holocaust survivors, and was a supporter of Israel and believer that Israel was not an obstacle to peace for almost all my life. My opinion changed based on facts and reporting of the last 2-3 years.
