My birthday shopping list is set for the next year. šŸ˜ƒ šŸ˜ƒ Iā€™ll be pre-ordering six copies for various relatives & friends kids. Dr. Seuss is such a special treat for kids. Besides, it gets me off the shopping hook for awhile. šŸ†’ Itā€™s something I know they havenā€™t read yet. I still have my original Dr. Seuss books from the early 70ā€™s in a closet somewhere. Oh, cool! Iā€™ve been enjoying reading Seuss to my two-year-old, but only have a couple of omnibuses. I am a bit embarrassed to admit that I canā€™t get through _Oh, the Places Youā€™ll Go!_ (new to me, of course) without choking up. Looking forward to new stuff! ---

I find it odd that each story isnā€™t getting a separate book. Itā€™s not like his books are very long. ---

One of the perks of having a daughter is buying for her this kind of cool stuff. A month ago I found ā€˜Lead Belly sings to Childrenā€™, though I might have picked it up _sans_ children.
