Massive amount of trash (out of power for a month) bumped out to the curb. Filled the trash bin to the brim for the first time. I have solid food. Go me. ---

I’m sorry about your wife’s friend **cookie**. You’re lucky that the trees didn’t do more damage or hurt anyone **Mooooom**. I hope that your mom likes her donuts **sari**. Hope that Cerby heals quickly and adjusts to his new home. I hope that your hubby’s arm heals soon **JtC**. You know that we’ll need more pics of Zorro **sunny**. I’m glad that he’s coming around. I’m going to have to turn the AC on cooler. I have it set at 75F, but it is currently 82F in here because it’s so stinkin’ hot and humid. Made red beans and rice for supper, along with a cucumber salad and it passes muster. Now for KP. ---

Home, exhausted. Much was accomplished, altho you wouldn’t know it just by looking. All this work we’re doing will be invisible, except maybe for the two switches **FCD** will install tomorrow. But _we’ll_ know!! I brought in the laundry that I hung out last night, and it’s all folded and put away. I’m just getting caught up on the internettin’ I missed this morning. Shortly, I’ll assume the recline position. I read everything but can’t recall any of it, so help yourselves to hugs, high-fives, butt-pinches, friendly smooches on the cheek, or devastating disapproving glares, as appropriate. And someone please arrange to have a deluxe hot fudge sundae delivered to the aforementioned recliner. Thanks ever so!! 😉 ---

Drove about a half hour south to see the local women’s soccer team play and it was sold out! It’s not even a major league team; I expected there to be 20 people there eating bad hot dogs and cheering feebly. Instead, it was a packed stadium (Vikings training stadium) full of roaring fans. Well, we had a drive and a decent hike to the stadium, then reverse. Finally washed the 1700 miles of road grit, bugs and bird shit off the car this morning, so I accomplished something today. ---

Evening all. Spent the early afternoon solving all my Sunday newspaper puzzles, and then spent 90 minutes pedaling bicycles absolutely nowhere at the gym, so then replaced all those burned calories by letting the Red-haired girl feed me. There are clouds all about, but no rain is expected this evening, so maybe tomorrow… Glad I didn’t read this before I went out or it would have been a 3-scoop butter pecan waffle cone for dinner. **Cookie** , good for supporting the local ladies and sounds like they’re doing OK. There is a new Major Soccer League team in Nashville, maybe I need to drive up there and see what they are like. **FCM** , take care and as soon as teleportation devices like Star Trek’s come about, I will be happy to provide you the best Dairy Queen products. **shoe** , solid food is good. Solid friends are even better. We’re here. **Sunny** , good on you and Zorro, evil thoughts to the &%$ who dumped him. And sounds like you need to borrow Jane’s cane… **JtC** , hope husband-unit is doing better. I expect this month’s water bill to be moderately high since the leak wasn’t fixed until the 8th and I had to water the yard twice, so the August bill should tell if the fix was worth it or not. **Nut** , hope the Scotland visit is better than expectations. **{{Sari & Sari’s Mom}}** And I hope Cerby has found a good home for himself. Dinner was barramundi, rubbed with olive oil, sprinkled with kosher salt and tarragon, and baked at 400ºF for 20 minutes; and green beans cooked in olive oil margarine. I also had the three broccoli florets from Mrs. L.A.'s leftover orange chicken. (She doesn’t care for broccoli.) And yes, Goo got some of my fish and some of Wifey’s fish skin. ---

No exercise today, 6/20: 3 hours chopping logs. 6/22: 2.56 miles walking. 6/23: 2.70 miles walking. 6/24: 3.10 miles walking. 6/25: 2.56 miles walking. I was ‘feeling it’ yesterday, so I deceded to to take today off from exercising. ---
