I really like these types of places, especially Faneuil Hall in Boston. It’s great to create a meal with favorite components from a few stalls. When I visited Sydney some years ago I visited this place and enjoyed it very much:
Back when it was a novel concept, my daughter took me (and extended family) to one, saying “We found The Most Dad Place Ever!” (It was in Santa Barbara, near the Funk Zone)
We had a big group, and everyone tried a little of everyone else’s picks. And some of the pop-ups were local breweries and vineyards, so we had many pitchers and carafes on our (picnic) table… and you heard a lot of “What’s this one again?”
That was a great Father’s Day.
Just saw the most Wisconsin thing ever: a mall with a curling rink in the middle of it.
Where? Haven’t been to a curling competition in waaay too long. Good weather for it today, -11 right now.
