A slipped up finger in a thread over in GD got me thinking about this… What would happen if you took a common word, changed it ever so slightly, and turned it into new computer technology? What happened over in GD is that a poster meant to type “soundbite.” He instead posted “soundbyte.” Now, you see the word has been changed very slightly, and in new computer technology this could mean: _soundbyte: 8 bits of a WAV file_ Come on, creative types. Can you think of any others? Disclaimer: I am not, in any way, shape, or form, trying to bring shame upon anyone for mistyping, heaven knows, I’ve done much much worse. This is merely to stimulate thoughts, and maybe, some laughter.
