**nocturnal\_tick** Thank you for accepting me into the “Doper Brat Pack”. I will try not to upset the moderators unnecessarily. By that I mean I will keep inappropariate postings moderatley under control. To phrase it another way, I think I’ll still be an official SDMB member for at least another week. 😃 I was going to mention that I have done extensive medical research in developing the artificial appendix but I did not want my membership qualifications judged by my selfless efforts to better the human condition. 😃 Interesting name **nocturnal\_tick**. I had always thought (as do many other folks) that ticks were neither nocturnal _nor_ diurnal but instead crepuscular. ---
