I haven’t been to a movie in a theater in at least two years. I’m going for this one. And this coming weekend I’m going to a Godzilla film fest here in town, and we are supposed to have previews of the new movie. The one speaker has some connections I understand. I agree that this movie will be really BIG, or really BAD. I hope it’s the former. ---

To everyone asking about the flying monster: the filmmakers have confirmed that it is an entirely NEW monster that hasn’t been in any previous Godzilla films. ---

Oh my! I so want to see this movie. This trailer, just the trailer is much better than the Mumble B… version (yea Hollywood, you blew that one!). Raise you hand if you’re of the _Creature Double Feature_ Generation 😃 ---

Holy shit! I just saw a commercial on TV (during the hockey game!) for this. I had no idea, but I am so going to see this in the theatre. ---

This weekend I attended a Godzilla and Friends film fest. There were numerous door prizes, amongst which were three different posters for the movie. One shows the big g towering over the skyline of San Francisco(you can see the TransAmerica Building) But he’s facing away from us. The second poster showed those military skydivers, trailing red smoke, as they dive towards Godzilla, In that you only see a little of his spine. But, poster number three!!! A full on view from the front of the new Godzilla. Not a teaser, you see all of him. So I know exactly what he looks like. I won a copy of the first poster. I so want to see this movie. I hope it’s as good as it looks. It was confirmed at the festival that the flying monster you see is a new kaiju. On of the other door prizes was a t-shirt with the name of Godzilla, in Chinese characters on the front. But the back had the English statement “Let them fight” ---

Look up Godzilla and Fiat (car) on Youtube. It’s a car commercial, but really shows the new Godzilla, far more than the trailers. Counting down the minutes… ---

They just showed a clip on the David Letterman show which revealed something interesting. The scene was two characters talking on the phone and they were both on _corded_ phones. Apparently the film takes place in the recent past and not in the present day. ---
