# New Harrods Hotel/Casino Coming To Las Vegas?

The local Las Vegas Review Journal reported that Harrods in London is planning to build a huge new hotel/casino/department store here in Las Vegas - official announcement to come in 2007.

Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to get a full view of the proposed Las Vegas site.
Here in Las Vegas, it seems there is always some new plan for some new casino being proposed, and usually the plans come to naught (George Clooney’s grand plan for a retro-casino being a recent dud before ground was ever broken.)
However, Harrods seems to have the money to pull this off, so we’ll see.
