# New kitty -- need German name suggestions!

Thank you all for your suggestions!

The name chosen for her is Freia, the Teutonic form of Freyja that Wanger used in the Ring cycle.

But, according to T.S. Eliot, a cat’s second name must be something particular. You’ve given MANY good suggestions for her second name!

And as for her third name, when we see her in rapt contemplation…
