The Irish for thumb is “ordóg” which would be a cute name for a kittty. I’m pretty sure the word for mittens is “mittens.” LOL! For black-haired heroes, one always adds the descriptor “dubh” (doov) after the name. For brown haired ones, it’s “donn.” (dohn) “Extra thumbs” would be ordóga breise But to be honest, something about his carriage reminds me of Sugar Ray Leonard. Sugar Ray Leopard? ---

The great thing about cats is you can have multiple names for them, since they specialize in ignoring all of them. My cat officially named “Dmitri” is also known as: Didi Smoke Demon Siberian Rat …and you will be pleased to know I have just added “House Panther” to his list of nicknames 😀 ---
