How about Monkeysuit (an old slang term for tuxes)? Or just Monkey? I always call my cats little monkeys. ---

Which bookstore in New Orleans is Bob employee of the month in, **Cherry**? Next time I’m there, I need to freak the owner out by asking him how Bob’s doing and how the medical bills have progressed. Since I live 1200 miles away, he might find that more than a little confusing. \ I can’t come up with a good suggestion right now, but you definitely earned lots of kitty karma taking your new guy in! Here’s hoping his health problems are few! Any idea how old he might be? ---

Here I am, yet again. I’m going to keep on coming back until you name that kitty! (Hope you don’t mind. I just keep on thinking of more names.) Jazz (after the beautiful “late” kitty of a friend of mine, and because it is a cool name) Domino Virgil (after the very sweet “late” kitty of a distraught gentleman I met at the animal emergency hospital one night. He had named his kitty Virgil because he said it had helped guide him through hell, ala “The Inferno.”) Melville (as in Herman Melville) Bartleby (as in “Bartleby the Scrivener” or Bartleby the fallen angel, depending on whether you prefer Nathaniel Hawthorne or “Dogma”) Tennessee (as in Tennessee Williams or Tennessee Tuxedo) Oscar (as in Oscar Wilde) or Dorian (as in “The Picture of Dorian Grey,” even though he is not a grey kitty) As you can see, I have literary aspirations for your kitty. ---
\ Jazz (after the beautiful “late” kitty of a friend of mine, and because it is a cool name) \
How about D.J. Jazzy Jeff? Or just Jazzy Jeff? In that picture in the OP, kitty looks like he’s sitting at a piano, with his little white hands all poised to play. I can’t think of any famous tuxedo-ed piano players, though (except Liberace, and he wasn’t so much in tuxedos, _per se_ 😃 ). ---
