I liked it better than the new Lethal Weapon (mainly the guy playing Riggs, p. u.) No, it didn’t feel like MacGuyver. It felt like Burn Notice if he’d never been burned. Of course BN had a bit of MG in it, so it’s not a total miss. ---

Burn Notice was a far, far better MacGyver remake than this was. This was godawful. If you like CSI/NCIS type shows, then, yeah, this is more of that. But everything good and clever about the original show is missing. None of the actors are good or relatable enough to carry the premise. ---
