# New member Que. \[Crime TV shows\]

Meh. Trampling the constitution in the cause of justice has been a staple of movies since Dirty Harry and television since T.J. Hooker, if not earlier.

A local police chief once said on TV that an unbelievable amount of suspects will demand their fourth amendment rights are being violated due to these TV shows influencing them. He said his officers calmly tell them you have no fourth amendment rights because YOU’RE NOT IN THE USA!

So I think some people are unclear on the difference between reality and fiction.

(I’ve personally heard people yelling about their first amendment rights\*)

No, queue. The OP’s Netflix queue only has NCIS and Hawaii 50 (which wasn’t as good as Hawaii 49) on it.

New member Q. New member Que. Oh, how baffling. What could the OP have possibly meant? Maybe we could cut the new kid a little slack at least until we find out if this is a conspiracy theory thread or something? Are we in high school?
