Not the best thing the Muppets have done, but pretty good with some funny moments. Paul Williams’s original songs were very catchy. ---

I thought it was contrived BS. Nothing about it was interesting or unexpected. As a classic Christmass special it gets an F. There were a few nice moments. I think it was Beakers best gig ever. Honeydew was pretty good as well. All the interesting character left early in the show. Swedish chef had a few predictable parts. Who the hell is that shrimp? ---

What? I thought it was awesome! Obviously it was no _Muppet Movie_, and the songs were kind of meh, but there were still some really cool Muppet gags (“Oh, Joy!”, Beaker’s wish, etc) and it was great to see all “classic” Muppets. I thought it was much better than the new Sesame Street Christmas special from last year. The “shrimp” was Pepe and he’s a king prawn. He’s pretty funny you just have to listen hard to catch his one-liners. He’s been part of the core gang since _Muppets From Space_. ---
