I just played the whole movie in my head. While the drug kingpin throws a birthday party for the Mexican presidential nominee’s daughter, Cage decodes an ancient manuscript revealing that there’s an historical document ceding California to the people of Mexico. Is it hidden in one of the piñatas? Is there someone at the party who wouldn’t arouse suspicion by going crazy and wildly swinging a baseball bat? ---

Sounds kind of like the movie “Adaptation”, in the sense of a realistic movie with Nick Cage playing a real person that goes completely cuckoo-bananas at the end. ---

Spelt is the spelling in most of the English Speaking World. Nic Cage’s name is properly spelt ‘Nick’ literally nowhere. ---
