# New Orleans Poker

Heading to New Orleans for a conference, and it appears that the only casino in town is Harrah’s… wondered if anyone had experience with their Poker Room… online reviews are few and far between.

I was in Harrahs New Orleans, 1st Saturday afternoon Mardi Gras, about 6 months prior to Katrina. I didn’t play poker that day, but they had a very large poker room. I am guessing there were 30-40 tables. But there were not that many people in the poker room. There were not a lot of games that early afternoon.

I am sure they have the standard fare of poker games. One thing I didn;t like about it, it was not secluded. It was out in the open, within hearing distance of the slot machines.
