So “East” and “Eastern” are bad, but “West” and “Western” are ok? Because Europe (and more recently, North America) is “West” only in relation to Asia, which is terribly Asiacentric. Or maybe, when you have one massive continent like Eurasia, one half becomes “East” and one “West”, split down the middle? That makes sense, but maybe it’s too centralcentric. I still think “East is Eurocentric” a ridiculous complaint.
