If you discovered a new planet what would you name it? I think I have the perfect name for a new one. But let’s hear yours first. ---

Planet Bob. Can’t go wrong with Bob. For something slightly more dangerous sounding I’d go with Planet Evil Bob. For a more exotic name, maybe something like Panet Bukkake would be cool. ---

I like “Bob”. Good name for a planet. “Bukkake” sounds like it might be a little slippery. Or sticky. Another good name for a planet would be “France”. ---

If I had to name it today, I would name it Spawn after the children in my house, who are surely not my children. They have been switched with the spawn of Satan. ---

Planets are typically named after Roman gods, guys! I’d go with Dionysius, after the god of wine and orgies. I wonder if I could get him to be patron god of the SDMB? ---

Cooler heads prevailed and gave the new planet a mythological name: **Uranus** As a result, the planet has now been the butt (Ha!) of jokes for a long time. I say it’s time to fix this sorry stateof affairs. The next planet that comes in, we name George instead of something that our descendants will find smuttily amusing. ---

Oh, I just figured out a new world! Placebo World! All its male inhabitants look like the members of the band Placebo. I don’t know what the women would look like. Hmmm…maybe like Brian? Oh, and all music would be Placebo music…And the drinks would only be um…don’t know…I know it would be Red Bull and some alcohol…Can’t remember 'cause I don’t drink…(Don’t I sound idiotic?)
