On Thursday, I will be picking up a new German Shepherd puppy [from this litter.](https://www.nordwestlichgermanshepherds.com/puppies) I am very excited. I haven’t had a dog of my own since my beloved Akita boy died in 2007. He was followed with a Swissy (husband’s dog) and a Newfie (for the kids). I will follow up with pictures of my exact puppy once I have her. _squee_ ---

I’m jealous. My lifestyle right now precludes a dog, but I get to hang out with some of my friends’ dogs, and they are the best. Enjoy your new family member!! ---
