# New Report Bad Post Message

I just reported a post–for the first time in several weeks- and was delighted to see the new message associated with it. Rather than the really scary “Only use this to report really bad stuff” (paraphrased) message, it now encourages use for “anything which would benefit from the immediate attention of the moderators” (also paraphrased).

I appreciate this new, more friendly message-- and thought others might like to know that it exists- hence this thread.

It’s not new. They had modified the Report Post message with similar wording in the previous version of the board software, but the upgrade to the new version last year reset it to the vB default, dire warnings and all. They’ve only just now gotten around to modifying it again.

We’re glad to be helpful. We’ve got a bunch of similar administrative chores that we’re going about, that we hope will make things more friendly… like cleaning up the stickies on this page, 'frinstance. Over the next coupla weeks.
