Why are they igniting a gopher?

Beware the Santovasku!
Never saw Capricorn One, did you. That had James Brolin, Sam Waterston, and OJ Simpson travel to Mars – with a Saturn V.
To be fair, they faked going to Mars in a Saturn V. That’s actually the least implausible thing about the film.
God, I am so tired of that stupid “swarm” special effect.
Do you know how much it cost to develop that swarm plugin? They have like another decade of films to pay it off!
You want a decent Moon-based horror film? Go watch Apollo 18. This just looks awful.
Slate fact-checks Moonfall. Unsurprisingly, it’s not entirely accurate. Surprisingly, there are actually a few points that aren’t completely wrong.
I can’t quite imagine anyone here caring about spoilers such as why is the moon falling, but if you do for some reason, be warned that this contains spoilers.
No, that article is utter crap. Here is is rephrased:
“A sparrow can fly at 20 miles per hour. So a sparrow flying at 20 thousand miles per hour isn’t completely wrong!”
Sure, the stayed “accurate” about all the destructive stuff.
For a buck and change at the local Redbox, it was a fine crank the subwoofers to 11, pass the popcorn, and turn off the brain distraction for a couple of hours kind of movie.
Almost the only thing they got right is that the Space Shuttles are in museums. Pretty sure the Shuttles don’t run on Windows, and even if they did, would NASA really use Russian antivirus? Those Kaspersky placements were just odd.
I started watching this movie on a flight two weeks ago. I bailed out (of the film; not the plane) after 20 minutes.
