Yes, that is the Fox attempt at spin. The 8.8 billion was lost by the CPA, which was us, which was made clear by the focus of the report. We were the CPA, we lost the money on our watch. Trying to blame the Iraqis when there was no Iraq is sad and pathetic and quite stupid.

Is this supposed to be helpful? What is the point? Who is it even directed to?

Duffer and RedFury. I just noted the way the politics inevitably gives way to shouts of “poopyhead” and “stinkypants”.

Puts an end to the fanciful idea that one’s talking to a rational person. Not that it’s ever crossed my mind when it comes to **duffer**.

Just thought I’d thank him for making my point for me – yet again.

Speaking of, these two posts:

Just broke my irony meter.

Seriously, dude, your fatuous arrogance is only exceeded by your colossal stupidity. And I’ll explain, for it’s rather obvious you’re incapable of figuring things out on your own.

See, dipshit, it’s _immensely stupid_ to attempt to lecture others about civility in political discourse, when just about all you’ve done in this thread is snark your ass off. And a rather wimpy ass at that.

When did I say you were uncivil? I haven’t accused you of being uncivil. Just moronic. 🙂

Just in case **duffer** is still not getting it, since he has been quiet about it since, I thought I would find some non-Fox news to clarify who the CPA was and who lost the 8.8 billion.

Remember, **duffer** , that June of 2004 came before January 30, 2005.

I hope you get it now. Also, you have to let us know when you finish reading by typing something on the computer. We cannot see when your lips stop moving from here.

You can cross the popular [Habyibna restaurant](http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/05/23/iraq.main/index.html) off your list of places to visit:

Shouldn’t alter your travel plans though – I hear they make a mean Big Mac inside the Green Zone.

I don’t suppose those were Muslims killing Muslims, were they? I trust there were other restaurant deaths in the world. Are they all the fault of America? Or maybe the cite is calling for blame of an Islamic group. You know damn well if it was Christian on Christian you’d be gloating.

What it sounds like is you accept civilian casualties so long as they happen during a political protest. Considering what you seem to believe based on your posts, though, that’s a likely possibility

In my nearly fifty years of life I can’t recall interacting with sentient form nearly as dense as you – and that includes a number of four legged friends.

If you’re at all capable, stop frothing for a minute and provide a cite which details the number of terrorist bombings in pre-invasion Iraq.

I am well aware of your attitude – and that of many other of your persuation – towards International Law and other binding treaties the US promises to uphold. Namely, that they are not worth the paper they are written on when they apply to your own behavior. To call said attitude “hypocritical” would be a gross understatement. Treacherous and despicable, however, hit much closer to the target.

In short, the US, as an occupying power, is legally and morally responsible, under a number of binding treaties it not only entered into out of its own accord, but also helped create. I realize this means absolutely nothing to someone like you, but for shits and giggles you could, for instance, peruse Article 43 of the Hague Regulations and Article 56 of the Fourth Geneva Convention. And then come back and tell us who is directly responsible for the current clusterfuck in Iraq. Hint: the same geniuses that devised the after-war plan.

> [@](#):

As \*\*Daniel[/b, points out, this is a contemptible _ad hom_. However, and as we’ve gotten used to seeing from you, it also also completely incoherent as it fits nowhere near the current discussion.

> [@](#):
>
> What it sounds like is you accept civilian casualties so long as they happen during a political protest. Considering what you seem to believe based on your posts, though, that’s a likely possibility

You’re also obviously tone-deaf, for you won’t be able to find a single post of mine that even approaches such a wild-assed speculation. I do however, firmly believe in the right of citizens of any nation to stand up and fight an invading force. History is chock-full of such examples. Take a look at your own.

Does that mean I condone their tactics? About as much as I condoned the US’s “Shock & Awe” campaign. Do I _understand_ why they fight the way they do? Considering that the term “Guerrilla warfare” was coined from the [horrific tactics of the Spanish resistance](http://www.napoleonguide.com/goyaind.htm)\* to Napoleon’s invasion, yes, indeed I do.

Tragically, the only people that can claim to be genuinely surprised about the current situation in Iraq are those that brought it about. IOW, you and the disingenous ideologues you choose to prostrate to.

Now go wash some of that blood off your hands. The filth in your so-called brain is a whole 'nother matter.

\*A visit to the Prado might help ameliorate your jingoistic insularity.

The reference to Christian on Christian violence was over the top. Heat of the moment and all that. Apologies and retraction for that lapse in civility.
