# New Sci-fi and Fantasy shows?

I have totally lost control of what is new. I’ve seen the Expanse, Killjoys, Travellers and Westworld in Sci-fi. And I’ve seen Game of Thrones, Shannara, and American Gods in the fantasy genre.
What else is out there that I’ve missed?

The Tick? The Orville? Marvel’s Inhumans?
Although frankly I’d skip Inhumans if I were you. It was mildly diverting but not particularly noteworthy.
ETA: The first couple episodes of The Orville are somewhat painful but it picks up around episode 3 or 4. Suppress the urge to punch Seth Macfarlane in his stupid face and give it a chance.

Lots of good suggestions, and a new one is Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams, on Amazon Prime (and a British broadcaster, I think). It’s an anthology show, so each episode is a different story and different cast, kind of like the old Twilight Zone. I like it a lot, though there are a few weak episodes. Just 1 season so far (10 episodes).

Wow, this show looks horrible, but my wife and I love it. It’s better than Walking Dead is right now. I would have never guessed a “female Van Helsing” show would be good. It’s great. Netflix.

Equally surprisingly good are **Z Nation** and **Wynona Earp.** The first is the Walking Dead with a sense of humor, and the second is just snarky fun.

Z Nation was fun enough, but I found it devolved into crap in season 2.
The Earp show is on my radar for checking out. Is it fantasy-ish?

Z nation recovered in later seasons.
Earp is, OK, bear with me, the GGG Grand daughter of Wyatt has returned to the family home town of Purgatory and has to fight off the resurrected spirits of all the bad guys Wyatt killed, using the magic gun only she can wield.

Technically its been canceled on spike after one season, its previous season was on MTV. There has been talk that they are shopping it to other networks, but I don’t see any takers.
