I would like to create a new screen name- preferably this weekend. I don’t know which to choose…so I’m turning to you. Only on the SD could I find a tatertot, evilbeth, and a Fretful Porcupine. I know you guys have ideas stored away…don’t be shy. Give me ideas, I beg of you. Extra points for creativity. To give u help… I’m a sixteen year old female. I enjoy the horror genre. My fave colours are purple and blue. I have not read Das Kapital in its entirety. If I could be any type of food, I would be mashed potatoes or soup. Thank you. ---

That would be Fretful Porpentine. I thought it was porcupine the first few times I saw it. As for your screen name; I like Zoggie. ---

No! Cease and desist! **Zoggie** is a great name. Still, up to you, I suppose. (Said Celyn grudgingly.:)) Purple and blue? No inspiration there, as I associate that combination with school uniform. Hmm I suppose you could be Deep Purple. Nope - been done. Horror? - don’t know Mashed potatoes/soup? - You could be the Soup Dragon. It’s from a U.K. kids’ television thing about little aliens called Clangers, who had bright colours and made silly noises and ate soup provided by the wonderful Soup Dragon. You seem to be looking for something longer and stranger than Zoggie. How about Liquid Acrobat? OK, I suppose it will be fun watching what suggestions arrive for you in this thread - I expect there will be some pretty imaginative ones. ---

I’m playing at opening books at random, and this book says you can be **Benzai-Tennyo** , which sounds fine, because you can be a goddess of “love, eloquence, music, luck and wealth”, and you can sail into the harbour on New Year’s Eve on a treasure ship. Originally a river goddess. And you can ride a dragon, which you “captivated” (how exactly does one captivate a dragon? Hmm, oh, let’s not bother) 🙂 and married in order to stop it devouring children. AND you can be beautiful, ornately dressed and have a sword too! Oh, and you can play a guitar-like thing and use a snake as your messenger. Well, it sounds fun to me, anyway. If you plan to change your name this weekend, are you going to have a major announcement on the stroke of midnight on Sunday? Will there be fireworks, and cakes and ale? Portents in the sky? Easier books in the “guess the book” thread? ---

How about **Machiavelli’s Mistress**. It just popped in my head. But I guess it doesn’t matter how I came up with it, as long as it’s good. Truly Machiavellian if you ask me. 😃 ---

If you try a special character, be prepared for errors. Some are sure to be useless when they mail you the link to start posting. Things like % / | are interpreted by the browser. ---
