That said, most likely this will be set in the Abrhamsverse not the “Prime” universe. I am fine with that as long as it feels like Star Trek. ---

Brian Fuller & Nicholas Meyer makes me feel better about this. But I won’t sign up for CBS’s access thing so I guess I’ll see the episodes 1/2 year or more after everyone else. ---

I won’t pirate it either but this will probably eclipse Game of Thrones as the most pirated TV show. ---

I won’t sign up for the all access either; I don’t need another bill. It’s still not clear if CBS plans to make this available to people who don’t pay for the subscription service. But I hope they do something similar to the NBC series _Friday Night Lights_. NBC broadcast the first two seasons, but the ratings were too low for them to greenlight subsequent seasons on their own. So the third through fifth seasons were exclusively available on DirecTV in the autumn and then broadcast on NBC in the spring. ---
