I find it dismaying that a member of Congress doesn’t understand that Freedom of Speech is about the government restricting speech, not about people objecting to what someone has said. Then again, I’m sure he understands just fine, he’s just pandering to those who don’t. It’s also disgusting that he’s confounding “freedom of speech” with “freedom to say whatever you want without consequences”. Anyway, isn’t this just the Almighty Free Market, with people deciding to take their dollars elsewhere? I thought Republicans were supposed to be all over that. ---
