I actually saw a meme on Facebook suggesting that the name is code for exactly that. Waif=a small child; fare=the amount you pay for something. According to snopes, this whole conspiracy “theory” seems to be based on one guy on Reddit noting that Wayfair’s price on a cabinet seemed unusually high, and deciding that therefore, they must be secretly engaging in human trafficking. ---
