What is the rationale for the Georgia governor’s order banning mask mandates by cities in the state? How does it help? ---

Every minority voter who dies (and the infection/mortality rates tend to be higher among minorities) is one minority voter he won’t have to purge from the rolls before the next election. That, and/or mindnumbing stupidity. ---

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp is white. Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, and the majority of the members of the Atlanta City Council, are non-white. (And one of the few white male City Council members is a critical-care RN who helped care for some of the first Ebola patients in the US. I’m guessing he is not feeling particularly overwhelmed by bro-ful solidarity with regard to Gov. Kemp at the moment.) Underneath the “muh libber-teez” rhetoric, this is absolutely about a bunch of panicky defensive white folks pissing their pants with paranoid rage about Those People daring to tell them what to do (with the backing of a bunch of “egghead bleeding-heart race traitors”, of course). Dumbfuck covidiots. ---

After a report about the Catholic church in Toronto limiting communion and reporting that the city had banned communon, Laura Ingraham asked “Will Joe Biden do more to protect religious liberty than Donald Trump? Anti-teachers’ union former teacher Rebecca Friedrichs, on Fox: The unions are using the closure of our schools as a smokescreen. Laura, here’s why. Sadly, these unions are actually using our schools to sexualize our children and to train them in anti-American ideology. They do this with a coalition of over 180 organizations, including, sadly, the CDC, Planned Parenthood, and Black Lives Matter incorporated. It is shocking what they’re teaching our children online through virtual learning. They are teaching our children to sext, to view pornography. They are hooking them up with online sex experts. So, what they are doing is grooming our children for sexual predators to use them. This is child abuse.
