It is pretty appalling. Not the rerouting of the web address, stuff like that is really common, there used to be a lot of people creating pages that rerouted addresses like [fatorangeass.com](http://fatorangeass.com) to the Trump campaign and/or White House

What’s appalling, and kind of scary, is the organized matter and speed in which the news “[Antifa.com](http://Antifa.com) reroutes to Biden website, smoking gun!” spread throughout the alt-right universe and reached the White House.

My old home state - Oklahoma - land of derplahomens.
Three new legislative bills from this man -
" Oklahoma State Senator Warren Hamilton for doing his part to keep this annual tradition alive. Fresh off [beating incumbent Wade Boggs](https://ballotpedia.org/Warren_Hamilton) in a heated abolitionist derp’off in the moist and sweaty corner of Oklahoma’s groin, he’s come out bat shit ablazin’ and introduced a wide variety of legislation that I’m sure is very popular with his core base in the local Baptist, militia and lawnmower racing movements.

1. …he recently introduced SB 676. It would prevent anyone under the age of 21 from getting a “gender reassignment medical treatment,” because you know, nothing says limited-government conservative values than interfering with someone’s ability to receive a legal medical treatment because it doesn’t conform to a politician’s moral code.

2. … Hamilton introduced a bill that would make [Oklahoma a second-amendment sanctuary state](https://www.mcalesternews.com/news/senator-files-second-amendment-sanctuary-bill/article_86e899d4-5c1a-11eb-a65c-fbd78d82c712.html), which makes as much sense as a lawmaker from Hawaii lobbying to make their state a rainbow and sunshine sanctuary state.

3. …Hamilton has also, naturally, introduced a bill that would criminalize immunizations and mask mandates."

These aren’t individual legal efforts - these are boilerplate efforts introduced around the country.

And from just north of Oklahoma, in Kansas…

Tabitha Lehman is the election commissioner of Sedgwick County. This county is the home of Wichita and is the second-most populous in the state. Lehman has been on the job for nine years, and, by all accounts, has done a good job.

This year, however, she was undergoing treatment for cancer, and was told by her doctors to work from home if possible, because the virus could kill her. She utilized a VPN from her home computer to her office, having been assured by the IT staff that the connection was secure.

But a rule by the Kansas Secretary of State stipulated that anybody who accesses the state’s voter database must do it from a county office. Evidently all county offices are on a secure, private link to the server in Topeka where the database is housed. Lehman accessed that database from her computer at home.

Because Lehman did not abide by that rule, she will not be reappointed when her term expires in July.

Lehman and the Kansas Secretary of State Scott Schwab are both Republicans.

Like most SovCit arguments, this leaves me confused. Was there some sort of sunset provision in the law that incorporated United States, Inc. or were people simply too stupid for the past 150 years to figure out how to cancel it until now?

We’re getting into Emperor Norton territory here.

Y’gotta unnerstand, these people think ahead and play the long game. These are undoubtedly the same people who planted Obama’s fake three-line birth announcement in the Honolulu Advertiser and Star-Bulletin way back in 1961 to make it look like he was born there so he could become president one day.

I’m not sure if the comparison is apt. Norton was a harmless and lovable eccentric who proclaimed himself “Emperor of the U.S. and Protector of Mexico.” Outside of doing that, wearing a military-looking, though not an actual military, uniform, and issuing his own banknotes (which looked nothing at all like genuine contemporary American currency, and which people mostly collected as a souvenir of having met him); he took no steps towards actually trying to overthrow the U.S. government, or encouraging others to do so. Nor did he come up with crazy conspiracy theories as to why the government in Washington was illegitimate, while he was the rightful ruler of the U.S.

But these people are doing just that. They’re poring over old legislation, old caselaw, and whatever else they feel supports their argument, while conveniently (and, I’d suggest, deliberately) ignoring everything that doesn’t. I doubt that they understand what they are reading and studying; or what action they will take, if any; but Norton did none of that.

A letter from the kid’s doctor should be good enough.

I think this rule should only apply after a certain age when puberty has started, and only to serious, competitive sports. They could also make an exception for those who’ve been on puberty blockers since early on. It should aim for the minimum restrictions needed to ensure fairness. That’s unlikely though.
