OK, sure, I get it. There I was, all set to vote for Biden, but then some dude in a MAGA hat handed me a bottle of water… It is indeed unfortunate that here we are in the greatest country on Earth, whose citizens have put men on the Moon and helicopters on Mars, and yet no one in Georgia can figure out a non-partisan way to distribute water to thirsty voters. ---

I read all these horror stories about voting difficulties, and I wonder how I’ve been so lucky. My voting place is a recreation center next to the dog park. I park my dogs there and walk in the evening of the last day of voting. I’ve hardly ever had to wait in line, and I live in a city of 400K+. ---

Of course people waiting in line to vote are only getting thirsty because the Republicans there deliberately reduced the number of polling places and dates on which people can vote (and limit voting by mail) so that long lines are the result. ---

I live in NYC (Queens County). My longest wait ever was about 20 minutes (plus voting time). This year, no line at all. But this is a Democratic stronghold, so NYC makes it as easy as possible (Albany-willing) to vote. ---

In response to the shootings at massage parlors in Atlanta, Georgia GOP members have introduced legislation to make gun restrictions _looser_.
