A Michigan state legislator wants to require fact checkers to register with the state, and file a one million dollar bond. This guy joined in the lawsuit to have the Biden election overturned. Tell me about it. I waited for 45 minutes for gas at the Costco. I was out of town this weekend and was out of gas (truck said I had 24 miles left when I got to the pump). As for Hummer guy, if he been in front of me and had filled the Hummer and then pulled out a gas can to fill\*, I would be in jail right now and he would be in the hospital to have a 5 gallon gas can surgically removed from his rectum. \* Actually he couldn’t have. They had a sign that said “No gas cans.” and the pump cut off at 20 gallons. Costco has their shit together. ---

At least some people are using gas cans. It’s the ones using _ **plastic bags** _ that make me despair for humanity. [N.B. In the interest of being informative I’ll note that [some of the images being circulated about gas in bags are not from the current idiocy](https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/hoarding-gas-plastic-bags/). I didn’t hear it described as veto powers but my understanding is that yes, both the Chair and Vice-Chair have to agree in order to issue a subponea. The Chair will be a Democrat and the VIce-Chair will be a Republican. ---
