Ted Cruz held a hearing yesterday about the evuhl vilence of antifa and Black Lives Matter and how they are out to destroy Amurrikkka. And he invited all of these renowned right wing experts on the evils of antifa and Black Lives Matter, surprisingly, not inviting any Black Lives Matter or antifa spokespeople to talk about their organizations. Democratic Senator Mazie Hirono, the ranking member, finally got full of the crap and got up and walked out. BTW, this is how he explained that photo to a radio station (quote from the NYT article linked to), “Yeah, it was weird. She’s pregnant. She couldn’t get her pants zipped and I was like trying to like… I had on a pair of jeans I haven’t worn in a long time and couldn’t get zipped either. So, I just put my belly out like hers. She’s my wife’s assistant she’s a sweetheart. I should have never put it up and embarrassed her. I’ve apologized to everybody. I promised my kids I will try to be a good boy from here on out.” Somehow I don’t regret never getting into the social media habit. ---

Sheridan’s official title under Arpaio was Chief Deputy. I always thought of him as Chief Enabler. There was a third candidate, Mike Crawford, who garnered 26% of the vote with virtually no campaign. He was very careful in his [platform](https://www.crawfordforsheriff.com/platform) and endorsements to never mention Arpaio or Trump, but he nay have been hiding things. ---
