The problem with his ridiculous statement (pasted a few posts up by Steve\_MB) is that he is clearly posturing as Mr. Righteousness. He’s not even _remotely_ admitting that he’s been accused of conduct not dissimilar to that Cuomo has been dinged with. He’s saying ‘_harassment and sexual assault happens only on the Left, and We never do any of that sort of thing!_’ And many on his side will accept that absurd claim. This right-wing seizure of “woke” as the new demonization adjective-of-choice is, of course, steeped in the deepest of projection and hypocrisy—as always with the right. They just don’t seem capable of thinking up _valid_ criticisms of the left. They’re forced to wait until the left criticizes them, then deploy their trademark “Rubber/Glue” tactic, clunky as it is. ---

I’ll give those guys a little bit of credit for walking the walk - they railed against the vaccine and didn’t get it. Compare and contrast with Fucker Carlson, who coyly won’t say, but you know he knocked people over getting to the front of the line. ---

I mean, did he really think this would be the ultimate “Gotcha!”? Did he really think any significant number of Dem Senators would fall for such an obvious ploy, even if they did think defunding the police was a good idea? Did he _really_ think that? “The Nazis were socialists” has become just a regular old Republican talking point, it’s the sort of stupid thing you can _say_ without actually _believing_. But his whole “Defund the Police” vote? That was an actual action, that he should have known would blow up in his face, and yet, he did it anyways. Which means he _didn’t know it would blow up in his face_. That just goes so far beyond a stupid talking point. ---
