Read that again. He didn’t say that the Republican Party needs to be the party that’s telling the truth; he said it needs to be the party that’s PERCEIVED to be telling the truth. And, as long as there’s enough Qoncervatives out there, that’s what would win the primaries. And, with enough ephemera out there, that could be enough to win the Presidency. ---
