I’m seeing more and more conservative complaints along these lines, that liberals are out to “impose their will on us,” or what used to mean “pass legislation as a consequence of being elected.” I think it’s all code to ramp up an end around the electoral process in the next election. They’re worried that future electoral majorities are slipping from their grasp and they’ve about had the shits of this namby pamby democracy stuff. ---

Trumpists are playing their hands now. Powell, and Lindell and whatnot are easy to dismiss but they seem to be the republican party at this point from a leadership standpoint as far as i can tell. They’re riling the base while Republicans are either whistling through the graveyard, lining behind them or being purged Lynn Cheney style. ---
