True, my hypothetical does depend on finding cops who actually care about things like rape. And about holding politicians that they probably agree with accountable for anything. So, OK, pretty long odds. ---

More Pandora Papers have leaked concerning international financial hijinks. The Guardian said the files provided evidence that South Dakota now rivalled opaque jurisdictions in Europe and the Caribbean for financial secrecy. The documents reveal almost $360 billion in customer assets are sitting in trusts in South Dakota, some of it tied to offshore-based people and companies accused of human rights abuses and other wrongdoing, it said. There is a lieutenant colonel who disobeyed orders by continuing to post on facebook posts and videos during the Afghanistan withdrawal criticizing leadership and how we need to take down the system. He is now being disciplined and in military prison. Pro-Trump people decided to fundraise on his behalf and have raised $2M. Pro-Trump media and politicians have used his situation to bash Biden. Trump and his son have used his name to bash Biden and the “woke” generals too. Now the lieutenant colonel has irked the Pro-Trump faction by writing on his facebook account that he dislikes Trump for dividing the country. That he would rather be in jail for the rest of his life than seek Trump’s help. That he neither needs nor wants it. He wrote to Trump’s son to shut up and stop using his name, called Michael Flynn a liar and while he did not mention the current president, it seems his favorite president is George HW Bush and his second favorite is Bill Clinton. Some of these Trump fans have lost it in his comments section. Quite funny to read. ---

“I never thought the conservative would grab _my_ pussy”, said the woman that supported the Pussy-Grabbing Conservative Party. Sorry, I couldn’t resist. I’m very glad she went to the cops instead of just complaining to the campaign and letting them brush it under the rug. I hope she gets justice. I’m wondering if it was a pattern, something they did a lot. That’s hard to do, as who you voted for is not listed on the death certificate. I suppose if someone was really committed, they could look up all the deaths, and then look up what party they were affiliated with, but that’s at best, a rough estimate. Many who live in red areas tend to vote in the Republican primaries, as that’s often the only time we actually have a choice on a candidate. I’m currently registered with the Democrats, mostly to support a friend who has been running for office, but for most of the primaries I’ve registered as a Republican. Breaking it down geographically, based on what areas tended to vote what way, is about the best you can do. ---
