What pisses me off is that the conservative justices still insist on whiny that the _liberals_ are unfairly politicizing the court. And do they not realize that the shortest path to a ruling they don’t like might be achieved by loudly screaming “You _have_ to vote my way, I paid you off! I always reminds of that scene in **The Producers** (the good one, not the horrendous musical remake) where Zero Mostel slips the New York Times theatre critic a bribe in order to offend him and ensure a _ **bad** _ review. ---

It’s going to be interesting to see the effect of this “You dance with who brung ya” shit is going to have on Barrett, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. Roberts definitely does not go for it. ---

The state of Missouri did a study that shows that places with mask mandates have fewer covid cases than places with no mask mandates. Oh, yes. The NYT gets called “liberal” by right-wingers, but it has a long history of defending Trumpism (Maggie Haberman, anyone? Access!!!)
