Huh. My teen years were in unincorporated Rancho Cordova, then incorporated Rancho, and I had always just figured Orangevale and Fair Oaks were legit cities, like Folsom. TIL. ---

I think the only incorporated cities in Sacramento County are Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Folsom, and Galt. ---

I’ve said it before, but Massie is the biggest douche in the Kentucky congressional delegation, and boy howdy, is that saying something. Massie has bragged in the past about his extensive collection of boom-sticks, but he has also said that many of the more questionably legal ones were tragically lost in a boating accident. I later learned that this is a thing ammosexuals say for when the gubmint comes for their hardware, and not indicative of a particularly violent style of fishing. But if he’s going to claim that, he probably shouldn’t take an easily datable photo with said guns. ---
