The Oklahoma Total Book Ban Bill apparently specifies that it applies to any book that mentions, you know, S E X (shhh)! Let’s all go down to Oklahoma and ban all the Bibles! So much lurid and licentious sex! Adam knew Eve, repeatedly, in all the glorious Penthouse detail (Gen. 4-1, 4-25)! Cain gets some booty too (Gen. 4-17)! Even the Angels of the Lord (Nephilim?) lust after women, and get themselves some booty thereof (Gen. 6-1:7)! So who does the Lord punish for that? The humans, not the angels. That whole business at Sodom and Gomorrah, whatever that was about (Gen. 18:16 - 19:29)! Attempted seduction of Joseph and false accusation of adultery by Potiphar’s wife (Gen. 39:6-20)! The Rape at Gibeah (Judges 19:24-29)! The rape of Tamar by her half-brother Amnon, right there in the hallowed House of David (2 Samuel 13:1-17)! And so on and so on. You get the idea. And don’t even get me started on that wicked wicked Whore of Babylon (Rev. 17)! Yea, verily, shalt the Holy Bible be brought forth from the shelves of the Libraries of Oklahoma and be cast into the fire, lest the generations of them that seek, be led astray in their iniquity! ---

I really wish the media wouldn’t cover every stupid mouth dropping like this that she makes. This “proposal” has zero chance of going anywhere legally. She’s trying to be Ann Coulter 2.0, just saying outrageous shit to get attention. Let’s not give it to her. ---

I’d think that her willingness to dispose of the notion of universal suffrage is something that should be shouted from every rooftop. (It’s one thing to claim that ‘they’ hate democracy, it’s quite another when it’s coming directly from their mouths.) ---

What worries me is that a lot of Pubs will agree with her, democracy be damned. Universal suffrage has not been a thing for a good part of this country’s history, and many of them would be happy to go back to that situation. Before that idea catches fire it needs to be smothered for lack of oxygen. ---

I get so tired of the old lie that California is losing population. There are 2 million more people in the 2020 census than in the 2010 census. It’s jut that California isn’t increasing as rapidly as other states, and that cost us a Congressional seat. ---
