Missouri Senate Bill 666 (yes, that’s really the number) ups the ante on the state’s “stand your ground” law. Essentially, if you shoot and kill someone and claim self-defense, police have to assume you are telling the truth. Disagree. He didn’t lose any (or many) votes by making the promise. Any that he lost were more then made up by people who approved of it. And of course St Reagan did the same thing (although he didn’t specify race), and no one seemed to care back then. ---

TFG also said he would appoint a woman, and the MAGA crowd knodded and cooed, since it was understood he meant a white Christian woman. The only difference now is Biden specified a black woman. The only difference is race. ---

Speaking of face-eating, Governor Parson’s of MO is [pissed that his nominee for the Health Department was rejected](https://missouriindependent.com/2022/02/01/gov-mike-parsons-pick-to-lead-state-health-department-rejected-by-missouri-senate/). Why was he rejected? Because he thinks vaccines work and are a good idea.
