In fairness, he’s an “Independent” candidate, not a Republican (guess he’s too wacko even for them…) and the District (Florida’s 18th) has been a bit of a battleground as both Republicans and Democrats have held the seat recently, so I suspect both parties will have money and time invested here. Guess the poor guy had to do something to be noticed… ETA: Just read a little of his campaign bio–his influential book is “Atlas Shrugged” by Any Rand. Draw your conclusions as you will.
