I should probably be ashamed of how much pleasure I am getting from watching the about-face from elected Republicans on masks. Their base staked their identity, their manhood in many cases, in not being like the namby-pamby Chicken Little liberals wearing masks out at the supermarkets. Now they have to eat it, bend over and take not only the (perceived) humiliation of the masks themselves, but the tacit acknowledgement that the smug liberal elites were right all along. And I’m here for it! 😈 ---
