Good point. When all the Rs can offer up is a platter of crap, you don’t have much choice. I guess the WA offering from the R side might’ve been slightly better quality than the famous ID offering in 2014. Anyone remember Harley Brown and Walt Bayes? I was fairly young for Evans (well, he was gov starting before I was born), but I do remember Dixie. She was something else. I hadn’t thought of her in a long time until I recently read an excellent book on the eruption of Mt. St. Helens (Eruption by Steve Olson in case anyone is interested) and she definitely plays a part in that book. Not sure if “DINO” is a thing, but it could be applied to her for most of her views. ---
