Perhaps you have a problem with reading comprehension. I choose my defenses of Musk based on the truthfulness of the claim (e.g., the submarine, Boca Chica claims, forcing employees back to work at the beginning of the pandemic, the emerald mines). This is what SDMB represents to me… a place where truth matters regardless of your personal feelings. I personally feel like he’s losing it lately and wish he would just shut the fuck up. On the sexual harassment claim, well, just like Trump’s problems in that arena, he did this when he was a democrat. ---

Are you under the impression that liberals don’t care about sexual harassment and abuse as long as the abuser is a Democrat? Try telling that to Al Franken or Harvey Weinstein, for example. Musk’s self-aggrandizing assholery is independent of whatever political party affiliation he happens to be espousing at the moment. Except to the extent that some parties are more likely than others to encourage his self-aggrandizing assholery, of course. ---

Wow. Just wow. And here I thought Republicans had gotten just about as blatant as you can be about stealing elections. I guess when you’ve gamed the system all you can and still can’t win elections, gotta up the game. Perhaps his next suggestion would be a system where only Republican votes count. ---
