And, of course, he blames Black mothers for that because, after all, anything at all that happens to them is their fault, right? It could not be rooted in the systemic racism they’ve suffered for centuries and are still afflicted with today. ---

Some loon on Individual 1’s Truth Social called for a civil war, and Individual 1 “retruthed” it, which is their version of retweet. Then loony Lara Logan added a post from the president of El Salvador saying that the US is destroying itself from the inside, though I’m not sure he’s saying the same thing they are. Ivanka allegedly feeding Ukrainian refugees in Poland. Note that there are people serving themselves on her side of the table. It’s self serve, not “Ivanka will serve everybody”. The mom doesn’t have a plate, so it’s totally staged. Her hair isn’t tied back to keep it out of the food, and she isn’t wearing gloves. And why is her hand in that weird position? If Ivanka had really been willing to go to Poland and be in the same room with icky poors,\* then it wouldn’t have been difficult to find a facility in which a genuine photo could have been snapped. (There are over 3 million Ukrainian refugees in Poland, after all.) She probably just liked the “enemy comes from within” phrase. Republicans have known for a long time that they can’t win a free and fair election. That used to mean an embrace of the inequities of the Electoral College system and a willingness to use dirty tricks. But increasingly, it seems to mean (also) an embrace of violence as a political tool. Convince enough people that Democrats are ‘the enemy within’ and you’re bound to find a few willing to gun Democrats down. ---

Herschel Walker also always touts his involvement in a charity which supposedly helps veterans. He doesn’t mention that, despite his claims, he didn’t found the organization, nor does he mention that it’s a for-profit agency that has been accused of preying on veterans.
